14th July 1916. Sir, With reference to your letter of the 5th
instant forwarding a list of German civilian
Prisoners of War, previously resident in Ireland,
whom it is proposed to repatriate in exchange for
British subjects of the same class at present
detained in Germany, I am directed by the Lords
Justices to transmit, for submission to the
Secretary of State, the accompanying police re-
ports respecting the aliens name. I am,

This letter was written by Sir Edward O'Farrell (c.1857-1926) referring to a list of German civilian Prisoners of War.
