sending the gazettes they are quite amusing.
How do you like nursing the Editor? I am glad you saw Olive and had
a day off. Dorothy is by way of going
to England to-morrow. She meant
to go to the Swannicks first, but
Hilda has been near some case of
German measles & is afraid she may
take it so D. plans now to go to
Epsom if Aunt Fanny can have
her. I suppose you will see her soon. 2 I wish to goodness Olive could get
another job I think her present one
is a dreadful life. Dorothy & I went for a walk with
Marjorie on Tuesday — poor dear — it is
a pity to see her. She evidently can
make no plans & does not know what
to do with herself. Charley has got
a job at home or rather he is
doing a course in England before
taking command of his battery. I hope
Marjorie may join him until he
goes back again. Did you hear that Elsie Kingan 3 Dunowen, Belfast 4 turned up for tea here yesterday. Molly
& I are helping at a buffet for
Mrs Campbell. We have to go to the
Midland Station once a month &
give buns, coffee, etc. to soldiers.
