Aug 14 th which I received last
night, I was also delighted
to get the enclosed from
Tommy which I answer by
return post, I have been thinking
a great deal of him lately,
he must find the heat very
trying but I am so glad to
hear he is keeping so fit, it
is his only chance to escape
the fever — in a climate like
that— The heat has been
fair bad these last few
days but we are not very
busy just at present
I had such a nice long 2 letter from Minnie Fitzgerald to-day
when she wrote last time she
had not received my letter it
is very sad about T Waldron
I hope he will turn up— his poor
young wife what an anxious
time she must be having
I am very sorry to hear about
Jack glands, it always rather
worries me to see them so bad
as it is very unnatural & he gets
them so often— perhaps he ought
to go & see a specialist if the
change does not do him any
good. It is really very hard
to know what to do about
Jack I suppose Sr Ramsay
does not want to loose 3 him. Please give H. my very best
congratulation, he seems to
have done very well, how
I wish I were at home to
enjoy all the flowers, A Miss
Whitly come round very often
& brings us beautiful flowers
but is always reminds me
of home— Well I must close
