your ever welcome letter
today containing the good
news that we will see you
next week for certain. I am writing a few lines
to the Governor this evening
telling him that you are
coming next week. I am
sure he will be delighted.
I am going to Dunboyne
this evening to attend a 2 committee meeting regarding
cookery classes which are
starting next week in the
old School. Our Nurse's
meeting is tomorrow evening
Tom Bracken was married
on last Wednesday. It was
a very nice quiet wedding
no wreaths or veils or bouquets
nor white silk or satin. Mc Carthy sent the carriage
with them to the Chapel.
Miss Walshe gave the wedding
breakfast. Hugh Mullaly was
best man and Lillie Murray
was bridesmaid. They are living in the
front lodge. I wonder

what you will say when
you hear that George Moran
is listed as a private in
the Dublin Fusiliers. Himself
and Little were having a
good time drinking before
this. So I hear that the
old man cleared th him.
Don't say anything about
this if you write to the Paddins
as it wasn't there I heard the
news. I didn't get any word
of how Mrs Farrell was yet.
I expect a letter in the morning.
I wont send the Drogheda
or Sport to morrow, as they
will be here when you come.
Bridget says she will give
you a rare feed wh in the
mornings. 3 I got a new Tyre and Tube
for my bicycle as the other
one blew up and left me
on the road. Before I
close this letter I must
wish you every joy from
all here as to-day is your
birthday. Many happy
returns of same to you. I have Tobacco here for you
also socks and gloves. I will now say a fond good
