you that, on receipt of your letter of the 21st
ultimo, he at once called the attention of the
Police to the matters of which you complained
and as a result of their action he trusts that
your wife will not be subjected to any further

Letter from WP Henry to LT Silvester, a Sergeant in the Royal Engineers. This letter is an acknowledgement of Sgt Silvester’s letter of 21 July, 1916 in which Henry advises Silveser that Sir Edward O’Farrell, Assistant Under Secretary in Dublin Castle, brought Mr. Silvester’s problem to the attention of the Police and consequently Mrs. Silvester should 'not be subjected to any further annoyance.'
