transmit herewith five copies of its 71st Report, one
being for presenting to their Excellencies, the Lords
Justices. In accordance with the usual custom three copies
have been forwarded to the Home Secretary for presenting
to His Majesty the King, and two to be laid before both
Houses of Parliament pursuant to the 7th and 8th Victoria
Cap 97, Sec 10. We have the honour to be

Letter from Thomas Bodkin and Arnold F. Graves, Secretaries of the Commissioners of Charitable Donations and Bequests for Ireland to Sir Robert Chalmers (1858-1938), the under secretary for Ireland. Chalmers succeeded Sir Matthew Nathan (1862-1939), who resigned on 3 May, 1916 due to the administration's not preventing the Easter Rising. This is a cover letter which accompanied the 71st report for the Commissioners of Charitable Donations and Bequests for Ireland.
