This is a letter from solicitor James Brown to Malachy J. Kelly (1851-1916), the Chief Crown Solicitor. Brown explains how it is not clear whether the brother of the deceased (Elizabeth Hogg) is still alive and so will wait until he hears word before proceeding with an application on behalf of his client, John Duff.
