Members of Staff. With reference to the Asselution of sympathy with
Mrs. Forthand family in their recent sad bereavement which was
passed at the Meeting of the Institute Staff on Monday, 3rd
March, 1919, I beg to forward the following letter of thanks
which has been received in reply fromMr. Vincent G. Forth. Ravenwood,
Knockbreda Park, BELFAST.
5th March 1919. Dear Professor Earls,
On behalf of my Mother I wish to thank you for
your letter of 3rd inst., enclosing copy of the Resolution
passed at the Meeting of the Permanent Staff and the Occasional
Teachers of the Municipal Technical Institute, Belfast. My Mother is deeply touched by the expression of
sympathy extended to her, in her great sorrow and bereavement,
by the Institute Staff and will be most grateful if you will be
good enough to convey to them her heartfelt thanks: at the same
time expressing my own thanks and those of my sisters and brother. My Mother takes this opportunity of expressing her
deep appreciation of the most beautiful floral tribute sent by
