Captain Francis C. Forth, which was decided upon at the
meeting of the permanent staff held on Wednesday last, I
shall be glad if you will facilitate the completion of the
list of contributors by filling in the enclosed contribution
slip and returning it to the Honorary Treasurer (Professor
Earls) within the next few days. As several enquiries have been made regarding
the amount of the contributions expected, I take this
opportunity to say that it is not proposed to fix either a
maximum or minimum amount, as it is felt that this is a
matter that should be left entirely to each individual to
