MUNICIPAL TECHNICAL INSTITUTE
BELFAST (Date) March 3rd 1919 Memo. to
THE Vice PRINCIPAL From J H Smith I am sorry that I shall have to return home as I do not feel
well, I am particularly sorry on accout of meeting tonight
and trust you will mention this and add my sympathies
to them & my colleagues in them to Mrs Forth
and her family in this very sad period.
I was in bed on Saturday and until 11 oclock and yesterday
I stayed in bed until six in the evening, considering the present
state I believe it would be better for me to take all
precautions. Dr Crawford will take my class tonight along
with his own in CIG, I hope to be back tomorrow.
