7th inst., I have pleasure in forwarding you a few copies of
the confidential documents and evidence in the case of Ulick
Joseph Burke as prepared by the Council's Solicitor for the
hearing of the charge made against him on the 3rd of November
last. As you ask for the full documents, I send you the
file in this practitioner's case. You will notice that the
early papers refer to a matter which did not come before the
council, but I am not detaching them for fear that they might
be lost during the removal of the council to its new premises
next week. I shall be glad if you will treat them as strictly
