This is a letter from Thomas O' Donnell (1871-1943), an Irish member of parliament, to Augustine Birrell (1850-1933), the Chief Secretary for Ireland. Thomas O'Donnell was an Irish Nationalist MP who held his seat for West Kerry from 1900- 1918. Augustine Birrell was the Chief Secretary for Ireland from 1907 until 1916 when he resigned after his failure to prevent and manage the Easter Rising. The letter is a request for an interview with Birrell over the Easter week.
