Ballybofey Dear Mrs Daly It is hard to have to
address you on such a sad sad occasion
as this. And I am sure you will wonder
why I did write sooner but I really could
not settle my self atall. I never believed
they would execute them atall but one must
be prepared for the worst and hope for the
best nowadays. I cannot realize that
C is really gone but all we can do now
is pray for him and all the other poor
fellows. He sent me out these papers of
their trial for to send on to you. He said
he would like to have them to look at when
he would be free again but alas he will never

Look at them now. "God's will be done" and>lb/> now Mrs Daly as I amso, so sorry, I cannot
explain my grief. in fact all the people
around here are in an awful state about it
I will conclude wishing hoping you will not
worry yourself too much. Please accept my
