This is a letter from Robert Brown (1844–1935), bishop of Cloyne and a former president
of St Patrick's College, Maynooth. The letter is addressed to John Francis Hogan (1858–1918),
priest, author, and president of St Patrick's College.
In the letter Brown authorizes Hogan to present the Cloyne students from St Patrick's
College, Maynooth for ordination.
