Yew Tree Shillelagh Co Wicklow 30 July 1916 Dear Sir I am in receipt of a
letter from Mr Mitchell to the
late Sir Fred Falkner ( the copy
of which I am enclosing) I would be so much obliged
if you could kindly find out
for me is the draft still unpaid?
as the party to who it was
payable has not received it.
Mr Hackett has just returned
from Australia and asked
me to look it up for him.
It was in Aug â 1906said
that the money was divided
between the Hackett family
and the case tried in the courts. I am enclosing a stamp for
your reply. Yours truly A G de Corcrane
nee Hackett

which hasn't been paid. The issue dates back to 1906 and was subject of a court case.
De Corcrane refers to an enclosed letter from Mr. Mitchell to the late Sir Frederick
Richard Falkiner (1831 – 1908), an Irish lawyer and judge.
