A letter from A. G. de Corcrane to the Irish Command Pay Office, Dublin, enquiring on behalf of her brother, William Hackett, who has just returned from Australia. The query involves some money that was due to be divided between Hackett family members, which hasn't been paid. The issue dates back to 1906 and was subject of a court case. De Corcrane refers to an enclosed letter from Mr. Mitchell to the late Sir Frederick Richard Falkiner (1831 – 1908), an Irish lawyer and judge.
