This telegram was sent by Algy Peel to Augusta Caroline Dillon (née Crofton), Lady
Clonbrock (1840-1928), to congratulate her on the occasion of her golden wedding anniversary
in July 1916. Lady Clonbrock was married to Luke Gerald Dillon, 4th Baron Clonbrock
(1834-1917). She was also a prominent member of the Irish Women's Association, which
was established to provide aid and assistance to Irish soldiers and prisoners of war.
