Letter from the Most Reverend Dr. Thomas O’Dea, who served as the Bishop of Galway from 1909 to 1923, to the Reverend John F. Hogan D.D., who served as President of St. Partick’s College, Maynooth from 1912 to 1918. Reverend O'Dea advises the President that one of his students should prepare for ordination next week, provided he approves. He remarks that the individual is a Dean already.
