the enclosed. On the recommendation
of the President, or rather at his request
I sent faculties for these young men
should they turn up, please I ask
Mgr Horan to say in their Dismissal &
keep them for me! & of course exclude them from order The genuine will
now time & "considerate" before they
get much from me again. I suppose

of the President of St. Patrick's College, Maynooth, he sent ‘faculties’ in relation
to some young men (probably in connection with their entering the Priesthood).
The writer seems to seeking to intercept the correspondence and stall the process.
