Letter from Bishop Michael Fogarty (1859-1955) to John Francis Hogan (1858-1918).
Michael Fogarty was born in Kilcolman, County Cork in 1859. He was ordained in 1885
and in 1904 became Bishop of Killaloe, holding this office until his death in 1955.
John Francis Hogan, born in County Clare, was a priest, author and President of St
Patrick's College, Maynooth. Fogarty is writing to Hogan in connection with W.Ryan's
ordination.
