Castlecorner to travel by Motor in North Kilkenny
South Tipperary and Queens County. As I engage
a car by agreement with Mr Thomas Renihan
the garage Johnstown Co Kilkenny in my professional
duties as Medical Certifier to the National Health
Insurance Commissioners (Ireland) and also in my
private practice, I respectfully ask permission that
he or I be allowed permission to purchase petrol for
that purpose. Sergeant Hannon R.S.C. Johnstown Co Kilkenny
will be only too happy to facilitate me in every way.

Letter from John Joseph Cormack (b. 1875), a physician from County Kilkenny. This
letter concerns Cormack's car, which he has permission to use for travel in in north
Kilkenny, south Tipperary and and Queen's County (Laois). In the letter Cormack requests
that Thomas Renihan be allowed permission to purchase petrol. Cormack adds that a
Sergeant Hannon will be happy to facilitate him in every way.
