Petersfield Hants 20/8/22 My dear Yeats. I was very glad to get your
letter as I have often thought of you
anxiously though consoling myself
that if anything serious happened to you
it would doubtless find its way into the
papers. I shall be very pleased to look
through your proofs for you should that
prove to be necessarry but I think we
may hope that things will soon begin
to be better and communications be
re established it seems likly that the
De Valera party are on their last legs
and can hardly hold out another week
so by then the worst will be passed, though
it will take long to get everything into
working order once more. We are just
off to Paris for a month my address
will be c/o Mme G Appna 9 rue Val de Grace
Paris.France The proofs would be sent on to
me or you could let Werner Laurie have
it when yo my address when you next write
2
I will drop them a card in case you
should not be able to do this. Hoping that Ireland's troubles are
nearly over and that they will not be
followed by similar ones here or in
France. Yours ever
T.S. Moore I hope Mrs Yeats and the little
ones are well & happy in spite of
explosions etc.
