Do you get 'Eire' at all
lately if not I will
keep the copies for you Leixlip:
Thursday. P41/6/2/3 A Mháire a chroodhe I have let
your letter go so long without
answering that you must
think I was not going to write
to you at all. Did my mother
get the card I sent from
Lucan on Thurs. I had a great
drive to Skerries that evening. it
is 19 miles from Dublin. The
hotel is the best in Skerries and
it was in the hall there that
2
2 Harry Boland was murdered.
They went to live there on Tues.
I hadn't a chance of writing
since. I went in to O'Mahony's
Sunday evening and went in
to college Mon. evening after
calling to Dunleary to see S.O. Brien.
I saw Jim Larkin coming off
the boat. He is a fine looking
man and I believe that he has
got a large part of Labour with
him and it is likely that there
will be a split between himself
and Johnson. I got over the
3
3 exams alright but I didn't get
off till yesterday evening
and I must go back for good
on Sunday. I called on Nora
Ring yesterday and Margaret
Galvin and I spent a few hours
there. They have a flat in
Harcourt St. but the mother
was out looking for a house
and so I didnt meet her. Nora
and Jenny are both very nice
girls. I had a letter from Mollie
a few days ago and one from
M. Corkery yesterday. Did I say
4
in my last letter that I had a letter
from Josie? How is everybody at
home. when writing again give
me all the news. I don't know
how many have asked mem
cards of Charlie. Today Moll O Brien
wrote and asked for one and
Sr. Colmcille in Omagh. Jenny Galvin's
sister also wants one. Florrie is to
type more copies of his letters. Florrie
has this week off as she is not
very well. Now I must write to Tom
and Willie. I got Willie's letter from
Charlie and am sending it to him.
I must tell Tom that I cannot
