Let know
had Treasa
To pay or had
letter. I had
no stamp Mountjoy Prison,
Dublin 6.XII.20 Dearest Mother I hope you are keeping
well and not overworking yoruself or
worrying, there is no necessity to worry
about me anyhow as I am having an
A.1 time. I wrote to Treasa on Saturday
as I wanted her to send me in some
things and as we can only write one
letter per week I could not write you
earlier. We however receive all latters
that come to us. One visit per week is all that
is allowed the hours are 11am to 1pm and
2.30 to 4.30 pm any day, Saturdays
included, no visits are allowed on Sunday.
Now you are not on any account to come
up specially to see me you have enough
on hands. How is Lewie? Is he still
in Beresford Bks? Has a summary
of evidence been taken yet or do the mean
2
to try him on such a ridiculous charge?
The possession of newspapers which can
be bought in any newsagent weekly.
I trust that everything is goin on
well and that Denis is still with you
but for him I don't know how you would
carry on I hope he will be able to remain
I let Treawsa know that I want here
better let her manage it at this end
than be sending parcels from home. If
however, any friends have books to send
I will be most grateful for them but the
chances are they will never be returned
books here are common property. Will
you square expenses with Treasa.
We are having a series of lectures here
....... .......
They are quite interesting.
With best wishes to yourself, Denis
Fionnuala and all friends, not forgetting
Maggie As ever Eamonn
