To His Excellency
The Lord Lieutenant
of Ireland, Your Excellency I respectfully beg
to apply for permission
to exhume the remains
of my wife and infant
child, which were interred
in the Douglas Protestant
Cemetery, situated in the 2 Rural District of Cork
and transfer them to a
new grave about 30 yards
distant in the same
Burial ground in which
the other members of my
family have been interred. The remains of my
wife were interred nearly
12 years ago, and the infant
Girl about 5 years previously. The Cemetery
authorities are quite
agreeable to this
proposal and the Rural District
Council. the Burial Board
for the district will, if
necessary, give their
consent in writing. I am,
