Daniel Corkery (Dónal Ó Corcora) was a Cork-born politician, writer and academic.
He was a leader in the Irish Language revival movement and co-founder of the Cork
Dramatic Society in 1908. This letter probably refers to Corkery's The Threshold
of Quiet which was published in 1917 by The Talbot Press,
