Sir, I beg to return the attached list of Prisoners of
War of the Connaught Rangers which you handed me on Thursday
last (for insertion of the Counties to which they belong) com-
pleted as far as possible. Owing to the documents of these men being in different
rooms, viz:- Regulars, Special Reserve and New Army the lists
could not be completed sooner. All men belonging to the Counties of Galway and Mayo
are more readily recognized by the names of those Counties
being written in ink, the remainder as are shown in pencil. Those men whose names are not traced are marked accord-
ingly.
