I was speakingto the Sister and she saidit would be better that Idid not see her. I thinkyou should not write heruntil she is alright.Thenuns will break it to her.She had a letter from Jonthis morning & had onefrom Con also. I got a letter from poorCharlie in the beginning ofthe month, we were always arguing about the country, but I never for amoment thought the worst would happen to himwho I admired so much. I asked the nuns not to give Susie anyletters until she was alright. I will go upagain soon to see her. Now I hope you will all bear up, thinkof all our Lord and his Blessed Mothersuffered.
