As he was spokenof as a true Patriot of IrelandPoor boy he is gone to enjoythe reward of a well spent life It is the dear mother, father,brothers and sisters tha hehas left behind to mournbut trust you will be resignedgo God's Holy Will + you will allbe united in Heaven whereso sorrow will be no more. Iwould be so thankful forhis photo + his last letterthat we may ever treasureWe have had masses saidfor the four brave boys +we never orget them inour prayers although they donot want them. When my daughter was athome from Dublin for Eastershe told me your dear daughterwas ill + she had not heard the sad news. She felt so muchfor her. Miss O'Donnell + Miss Blakeare in Buncrana still + myniece M O'Flaherty is homefrom Mountjoy although she is not ableto stop at home as they liveon the border.
