             To His Majesty the King <lb/>Sir   I have been requested by the <lb/>members of Royal Orange Lodge Number <lb/>677 to forward to your Majesty <lb/>the enclosed resolution:   It was passed unanimously at <lb/>our June meeting held in the <lb/>Orange Hall Bangor, Co Down, <lb/>Ireland.   I have the honour to remain, <lb/>Your Majestys' most faithful subject <lb/>&amp; dutiful servant.   J.<seg type="unclear">Raymond</seg>McDonald <lb/><seg type="unclear">Unplain</seg>L.O.L. no.677.

            <lb/>Resolution:—  "The members of L.O.L. No.677 assembled in <lb/>"Lodge at Bangor, Co. Down, Ireland, express their <lb/>"deep grief and heartfelt regret at the tragedy <lb/>"which as robbed His Majesty the King and his <lb/>"Empire of the distinguished solider and leader, <lb/>"Field Marshall the Right Honourable H.H. Earl <lb/>"Kitchener of Khartoum, K.G., K.P., G.C.B., O.M., G.C.S.I., <lb/>"G.C.M.G., G.C.I.E., Secretary of State for War. They <lb/>"express their humble sympathy with His Majesty in the <lb/>"loss which he has sustained.
