Dear Sir,   I am requested by the President and Fellows of the<lb/>Royal College of Physicians of Ireland to forward you a copy<lb/>of the following resolution which was passed at a meeting of<lb/>the College held yesterday the 3rd inst.,  Resolved :that the thanks of the College are due and are<lb/>hereby tendered to Mr.R.Lane Joynt,F.R.C.S.I., for his<lb/>generous gift of two early clinical thermometers, and more<lb/>especially for the thermometer used by the late Dr.A.W.Foot<lb/>who was for many years a Fellow of this College.
