 ESTATE OFFICE, MUCKROSS, KILLARNEY. 20th July 1916 Dear Mr Hanstock, Many thanks for your letter of 5th inst, enclosing cheq. value £3.18.0 in discharge of Pension for Old John Murhill from Lady Ardilaum for Quarter ending 24th June 1916. Please find receipt enclosed. Mrs Williams, (Mrs Ross's second daughter) is managing the Muckross Hotel, for her brother Jack, who is "somewhere in France", the Management is, unfortunately, very light work, as there is scarcely a Tourist coming here this season. Many thanks for your kind inquiries about my health. I am, thank God, keeping well. With kind regards & hoping you & yours are in the enjoyment of the best of good health.
