               <p>A letter from T.J. Hanna, on behalf of John Redmond (1856-1918), to Nicolas Lamb on 6 July 1916. Hanna thanks Lamb for a letter previous received by Redmond concerning a resolution passed by the Longford Urban District Council.

T.J. Hanna served as John Redmond's secretary. Nicolas Lamb (b. 1861) was the Town Clerk for Longford and sat on the Longford Urban District Council. The Longford Urban District Council was the towns local authority and was renamed the Longford Town Council in 2002.</p>
