A letter from John Newcomen Edgeworth to Nicholas Lamb enclosing a copy of the final main roads declaration made at the County Council quarterly meeting. John Newcomen Edgeworth (b. 1852) was the Secretary to the Longford County Council. Nicholas Lamb (b. 1861) was the Town Clerk of Longford and served on the Longford Urban District Council. The Longford Urban District Council was the towns local authority and was renamed the Longford Town Council in 2002.
