This morning a notecame saying she had mumps, &was summoned to quarantine. I have just beentelephoning the hospital & a nice personcame and said it was the “flue” and she was gettingon well & would be back on duty in afew days! I’ve not gone to see her becauseof this reason. I thought I ought not tochance catching it off her. I have justwritten to Celia, telling her to let me knowif she wants anything.
