             1 Cork Road <lb/>Skibbereen <lb/>Co. Cork    April 24<hi rend="superscript"><hi rend="underline">th</hi></hi> 1916.     Dear Sir,    I am the wife of <lb/> a naval Reservist who was <lb/> called up at the beginning <lb/> of the war. I stored my <lb/> furniture last September at

            <seg type="unclear">Pat</seg> Ross' of Cork Furniture <lb/> Removers. I have now found <lb/> a nice little cottage around here <lb/> and would like to have a home <lb/> ready for my husband, but <lb/> <seg type="unclear">Pat</seg> Ross wants to charge me <lb/> thirteen pounds to move from <lb/> Cork here though he would <lb/> have it done last September <lb/> from Queenstown for twelve <lb/> pounds, though the distance <lb/> is fourteen miles further.    Can I appeal to anyone <lb/>against such overcharge.   I am willing to pay eight <lb/> pounds which I consider <lb/> reasonable the distance being <lb/> fifty miles.
