In this letter MacRory grants the canonical faculties for the students from Down and Connor to be ordained into their religious orders. MacRory also states that he has returned from a confirmation campaign.</p>

Moreover, in the case of Messrs<lb/>O Hare and Bradley, Fourth<lb/>Divines, I grant faculties<lb/>for Priesthood, and in the case<lb/>of the Parson and Mr Crossan,

             faculties for Deaconship and <lb/>Priesthood. I trust the Coun.<lb/>cil will see its way to allow <lb/>these four to be ordained Priests<lb/> at the general ordination, <lb/>as I shall need them.
