This letter is from a collection Patrick English (1894-1970), who at the time of writing was a prisoner inFrongoch internment camp, recently transferred from Stafford prison. This is part of a letter from Patrick to his mother, Kate English (b. 1855). In the letter, Patrick apologises for not writing before as he is only allowed two letters a week. He goes on to state it would be foolish for his mother the come to visit him and believes it would be a waste of money. Patrick then discusses his health and Father Moore, who he left at Stafford Prison. The remaining pages of the letter are missing.
