                January 11th    Simmonscourt Castle  Donnybrook    Dear F<hi rend="superscript">r</hi> Delaney   I am delighted to hear <lb/> from <seg type="unclear">Fr Finn</seg> that the operation had<lb/> been a complete success. He found however<lb/> that it was quite necessary to have it<lb/> done &amp; says that you will feel perfectly<lb/> well when you are over the effects of the<lb/> operation.
