This letter was written by James Brown (b. 1860), a solicitor from Londonderry, to Sir Henry Arthur Wynne. Wynne (1867-1943), was appointed chief crown solicitor for Ireland in 1916 following the death of Malachy Kelly. This letter concerns the estate of the recently deceased Elizabeth Hogg. According to Brown Elizabeth's brother, Andrew Hogg, has applied for Power of Attorney from America therefore ending the claim of John Duff to the estate.
