This brief note is an invitation to supper, sent internally within Frongoch Prison. The senders of the letter describe themselves as 'Messrs. Gaffney & Co.', and instruct Scollan to bring his plate, mug and cutlery; the dress code is 'optional'. A different hand, written in blue ink in December 1950, has identified Rebel Scollan as John J. Scollan.
