This very brief postcard is from a man with the surname Ua Seagda, to a P.B. Bowen in Howth. Ua Seagda writes that he is happy to hear of Bowen's good news, and promises to write later. The picture on the reverse side of the postcard depicts the River Blackwater as it flows through Fermoy, in County Cork, perhaps indicating its origin.
