A letter from the War Employments Inspector to Alexander McDowell (d. 1918), Ministry of Munitions, thanking McDowell for his reply to his queries about the employment of female workers in the Linen and Munitions factories in Belfast. The inspector states that the information will be submitted in a report to the Local Government Board (LGB).Alexander McDowell, Esq., was the joint director of Ireland for the Ministry of Munitions.
