This is a letter from the Acetylene Corporation Ltd. to the secretary at the Irish Office in London. In the letter the Corporation offer their services to remove girders and other debris caused by the Easter Rising via the use of an oxy-acetylene blow pipe.

We have several skilled men in Dublin and the necessary plant and we could therefore give immediate attention to any work of this description which may require to be done. Will you be so kind as to bring this matter to the notice of the responsible authorities as we are not sure to whom we should apply in Dublin.
