This is a letter form M. Mattei to the Chief Secretary's Office in Dublin Castle. The letter is written during the period of martial law in Ireland following the Easter Rising which resulted in strict regulations on movement in and out of Ireland. The letter requests a permit for Mattein to go to Ireland and visit her mother in Law.
