                Headford  Co Galway    6.5.16   H Asquith Esq.<lb/>Dear Sir   I could give <lb/>you some side <lb/>news of the recent <lb/>rebellion if I had <lb/>a personal interview <lb/>but there is no <lb/> one to be trusted <lb/>here if you give me <lb/>a warrant across <lb/>I will go over to <lb/>London I want <hi rend="underline">no <lb/> payment</hi> only

I have <lb/>lived in the <lb/>West 30 years. <lb/>I am 10 miles from <lb/>a railway car it <lb/>is 15/. as a fare <lb/> to London from <lb/>Tuam about Â£5 <lb/>as near as I can <lb/>go but a gov. warrant <lb/>from Tuam would <lb/>be sufficient if <lb/> you accepted offer <lb/>send through local <lb/>police just to
