               <p>This is a letter to W. Burrows, governor of His Majesty's Prison Belfast. The letter concerns Samuel Heron (b. 1890) a manager of the Ulster Print Works who was charged with the murder of Willie J. Quinn (1902-1915) in February 1915. The letter states that the author was informed by the Lords Justices that the Attorney General, James Campbell (1851-1931), does not wish to proceed with the charges against Heron for the murder of Quinn and that he should be discharged.</p>

Sir,   I am directed by the Lord Justices to inform you that<lb/> the Attorney General has decided not to proceed further<lb/> with the charge against Samuel Heron a prisoner in your<lb/> custody, charged with the murder of W.J. Quinn, and to<lb/> signify Their Excellencies desire that the prisoner should<lb/> be accordingly be discharged forthwith. <seg type="closer"> I am,<lb/> Sir,<lb/> Your obedient Servant,   The Governor,  H.M. Prison,  Belfast  </seg> I Send telegram <lb/> and letter  as above  to Governor<lb/> II F.D.  II Instructions sent to Dr. Wylie Crown<lb/> Solicitor
